The Conservation of Fuel and Power

With the introduction the new Part L the 'conservation of fuel and power' in April 2006, SAP or the Standard Assessment Procedure is the UK government term for the approved method of assessing a buildings energy performance. Passing these current standards is mandatory for all newly built and/or extended domestic and commercial buildings, with regulations tightening year upon year.

From April 6th 2008 further mandatory paper work came into affect targeting newly constructed dwellings. This was in the form of the more publicly friendly EPC or Energy performance certificate, and came as a way of easily distinguishing between energy efficient buildings at the point of sale.

At Green House Calcs we are proud to provide all required technical information and more to make coving this requirement straight forward, easily understandable and professional.

Please access our building regulations section to download your copy of Part L or any other parts of the regulations.
